Bio
Singer/Songwriter Rueben Anderson recently moved to Cape Canaveral from Orlando FL. Prior to that he resided in Atlanta, Georgia where he
began playing the southeast opening for regional and national acts. Shawn
Mullins, The Indigo Girls,Toni Childs, Drivin’ n Cryin’, all shared the stage
with Rueben Anderson. This soulful songwriter has also performed between
shows at the Lakewood Amphitheater in Atlanta; once with CSN and
Chicago, and again with Widespread Panic .
Rueben was voted “Best Male Vocalist” in Georgia by the Creative Loafing
Magazine and has also received the Georgia Songwriters Association’s
award for songwriting excellence. He has also been award 96 Rock’s
“Peach Pick of the Week” 4 times.
He is now performing as a Solo Acoustic Singer Song Writer around the
Central Florida and Space Coast areas.
Rueben Anderson’s musical influences range from Neil Young, Jackson
Brown, and David Grey, to REM, Pearl Jam, and Radio Head.
